Hi! I've been looking around but I can't seem to find out if Crazy Talk, or something by Reallusion is able to do this.

Is there a way to let online users get Crazy Talk characters to say what they want by typing something in a text area?

Like SitePal has. I know we can use Text to Speech ( TTS ) in the Windows Program but I mean a way for website visitors to be able to do something like that.

This would be a wonderful feature and persuade me to buy it.

Thank you!

Hi Christie,

Crazytalk 6 output is either video, image or widget based so it isn't possible to output directly to your requirements. You can output interactive flash video from Crazytalk called Web Avatar which can be used on your website but not exactly in the manner you require.

You might like to look at WidgetCast which is a companion product to Crazytalk. With this software you can create interactive widgets that can be placed on blogs, webpages, forums etc and allow a great deal of user interactivity. Again not fully supporting your requirements sadly but it may something else to think about.

Sorry I can't offer you better news.
