Hi there,
Basically, I want to use AccuFace to capture my head movement. But I found out the neck is not moving when I tilt my head. I guess the reason is that when I characterize my character in CC, it only counts the head joint as the facial part. Is it possible to add neck joints to the facial profile? Or any way to let my neck move together when I move my head. This will look more natural. I tried to batch import the FBX with a frame sequence that contains neck joint movement, but it was ignored after import, too. Now my workaround is sculpt the Head_Tilt_L and Head_Tilt_R with more neck moves...

Hi elvis+nvidia That's because the CC standard character's facial bone only include head bone and above. It's an limitation of CC standard characters But there is a workaround to add neck bones to facial bone if you don't mind to convert the character to Nonstandard Character(means you won't be able to adjust shapes morph slider in CC anymore): please check out the video: https://youtu.be/S1FDwctOAZg steps: 1, Using Optimize and Decimate to convert CC character to Nonstandard Character 2, Save FacialProfile 3, "Characterization" to map head to "CC_Base_NeckTwist01" bone, so the bones above this bone are all Facial bones 4, Reload FacialProfile 5, Export Mesh and Expression Sequence Fbx 6, Adjust neck pose in DCC 7, Batch Import by FBX with Frame Sequence ** If your character is already Nonstandard, just skip step 1.

Does this only work with CC characters? I have my own characterized character, and the Optimize and Decimate button is grayed out.

I ended up just assigning the neck1 to HEAD when I did the characterizing process. Then I can adjust neck1/neck2/head joints rotation in the Facial Profile's head section. And the result looks decent. Thanks!
