Hello.
CC4 freezes at start. I only see the UI. the 3d part is empty.
Is there some command option or settings file to make it "safe start" or force a mode like dx11 or dx9 or opengl ?

Hi...
Unsupported hardware or outdated graphics drivers are normally the cause for this type of issue. As a first step try updating your graphics drivers. You can get these from the Nvidia or AMD websites. However, if after updating your graphics drivers you still have problems, please post your full system specifications including graphics card. Thanks.

No settings files where i can disable some advanced rendering feature ?

DirectX 9 is not supported.
In Character Creator 4 you can change the real-time render options in Preferences (CTRL+P).
Just change the Quality setting to Quick Mode to get the lowest render settings.

I would love help with mine too. I'm on a Mac Mini M2 using Parallels, and every time I try to start CC4 latest version, it suspends Windows and then crashes CC4 after I resume Windows. I tried all the security fixes I could find, uninstalled and reinstalled both Hub and CC4, and it continues to crash when starting. Anyone know what to do?

Virtual machine software and emulators are not supported by CC4 or iClone 8. Sadly it is very unlikely you will get an error free setup this way but credit to you for trying.

Now it doesnt freeze anymore! but the 3d area is black, no videaocard fan noise... and the errors are still there.
I can create or load a project anyway.
