Hello all,
Gen9 char to CC4, Create character option as Transformer will not work. How can I get this to import properly please?

Iclone is much easier to render in, as we all know via Daz I will end up in my grave before this renders out :)

Are are you using Daz “Geografts” on your Daz figure?
CC4 supports G9 via the transformer.

Thank you. This answers the question :(
I tried after with a base Gen9 and that worked.
Thank you for answer, if you happen to know of a way to export the geocraft, would be grateful for tips.

As far as I know, there are no plans by Reallusion to support DAZ Geografts via the “transformer” at least.
Perhaps others here, know of a solutions via some other import method.

You can export and import GG, but it's real PITA and it will never 100% match the body transformed via Transformer.
For this type of characters where you probably would not care about dressing him up, the best way is to import as non-standard.
The only problem is that RL currently does not have a face profile for Gen9 humanoids.
I made one a while ago, but it's not 100% complete: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1puWtKR7fgOI58ow5xNCn3zU2drXS2pDQ/view?usp=sharing

For this one you would want to export all (along with the shell). Import to CC as Humanoid and then paint bucket materials from shell to the body (normal and other textures might need to be applied manually from RawArt folder in Runtime).
After that you may convert Shell to accessory and delete it altogether.

Wings/Tail morphs can be imported separately. You would dial one morph at a time in DAZ and Export with all morphs baked rule (shell has to be deleted in DAZ at the time of export).
Import to CC and export as iAvatar. Then use that iAvatar to create a single morph for the main character via Morphs Creator.
I do not have much time to create a video (maybe Mike will). But the end result might be something like this one:
