In the spirit of clarity, i'll ask the seemingly dumb questions...
1. Do i need to make 2 seperate WIP's if i'm entering for both character design and animation?
2. Do i need to make 2 seperate characters? (i.e one for the character design and one for the animation)

>>Yes, you need to make 2 separate WIP posts. 

2. Do i need to make 2 seperate characters .i.e one for the character design and one for the animation, or can i use the same character for both?
>>Yes, you need to make 2 separate characters. The same character cannot compete in different categories.
