Hi guys,
Is it possible to do a similar thing in iClone8 as with Blender’s NLA editor (see image), stacking animations and exporting them as separated FBX’s AnimStack? This is to play each one independently if I call one of them. Sorry, but I couldn't find any info on this.https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/028163dd-0eb5-4e2a-8ceb-d30d.jpg

When exporting an FBX from CC you can embed multiple imotions in the export.
they will all be separate “takes”(separate animations ) in your importing app
of course each app ,Maya,Blender,C4D,UE5 will have their own method of switching between the “takes”.

Thank you, this is what I'm looking for! However it merged all motions into one single track/strip when importing into blender using the CC pipeline add-on. Do you know how I embed multiple motions in one export? In the export panel it doesn't say anything about what motions to include other than range or current frame etc.  so I checke "All". Do I use the Performance List somehow or add multiple Motion tracks? Didn't see how in any of the videos.

These video were made with CC3 but it explains the steps  for exporting a Character
with multiple motion motions to Blender via the Blender pipeline tool.

Thank you a great bunch - this is really helpful!

Please verify for me before I go full monty on this:
1. In iClone8 I make my animations
2. In CC4 I export my character as fbx and include the said motions files (located in the RL folder structure)
3. In Blender: I import my .fbx file via the CC pipeline add-on (optionally Rigify-ing it)
4. In Blender: After import of the character I can import the animations that is stored in the same fbx file (will now show in Action Editor)
Am I right about this procedure?
Again thank you for your help!

Yes that is the procedure for the pipeline tool.
Also please use the “import animations” button in the pipeline addon, to import your animations NOT the Blender native FBX importer.
