Hello.
I formatted my computer yesterday and today I am reinstalling all programs.

CC4 and iC8 do not install on my computer. The reason is a file detected as a trojan. (Trojan:Win32/Malgent!MSR)
I searched on the internet, but I couldn't find any article about this problem with the installation of RL programs.

I can't install the programs right now because it appears to be a serious trojan.

"Microsoft Defender Antivirus detects and removes this threat.
This threat can perform a number of actions of a malicious hacker's choice on your PC."

Should I allow these files?
Thank you

This can happen if Defender finds the same bit sequence in a file like in the original trojan or if Reallusion is using the same encryption techniques.

Usually, if you download and install the software from official source, there shouldn't be a problem.

Hi,

I have just purchased Iclone 8 and am getting same message (below). I am downloading from my reallusion hub and am not having any issues with any other programmes.

As soon as i try to install I get an 'installation failed' message and virus warning

Hope someone can help,

Thanks,
Craig

Yes, I am trying to install the programs via HUB. The only way I can install it is to turn off the Defender software. I still couldn't install the programs. There was no such problem when updating the software before formatting the computer. I think there is this problem in the first installation setup file of the program.

Hi Yepkoo

If you have recently reinstalled reinstalled Windows have you made sure you have fully updated your system using Windows Update in Settings. This is important as it will also include the latest virus definitions. Outdated virus definitions could be causing the false trojan report.

Hello,

Apologies for any inconvenience caused by the issue. It stems from a misjudgment in the Microsoft Defender Antivirus updates.
Feel free to reach out to our customer service for assistance in obtaining the new installer.
