Can't use Motion from Animation Pack in Iclone 8.33

Hey there,

just updated to 8.33 to test AccuFace and we came across an issue where animations from Animation Pack drop an error.
"Cannot apply motion: Invalid file or character not compatible"
"The content was saved in a newer version. Please update program to the latest version or download a legacy version of the content."

We tried to uninstall everything from the computer and reinstalled, same issue. No matter which character, even Kevin and Camilla, same issue.

Seems to me as if it is a bug in the update.

Hi...

Do you mean the problem is with the animations from the free Animations pack that comes with iClone 8 or some other pack?

If the former, I have just tried a selection of motions from the free Animations pack and they all worked fine in 8.33 so it doesn't appear a generalised bug affecting everyone.

Please can you give a couple of the animation names you are having problems with so we can be sure we are testing the right animations. Thanks.

Hey Peter, 

I think it is my mistake. I tried to drag and drop the motion onto the character which does not work. When I tried to double click the animation it works, so it seems it's just a user issue instead of a bug :)

I'm having this problem too, and double-clicking doesn't help.  I'm applying to the CC4 Camila. Also can't apply Perform animations; it says it can't fine the file, asks me to check if the file is there, but it is in that location.

Which motions are you having problems with? If it is the embedded motions that come with iClone 8, please try reinstalling the Animations pack to see if the problem is resolved that way.
