is there a way to not do that ? I have my character set up can i make a live link in IC8 and UR5 with out replacing her ? (so pull out the model in both programs then make the link and start animating ) model replaced would be a big set back

I thought atuo set up would keep the hair settings ?

Yes , possible , just select the CC Character you want to Live Link and add the BP under the IClone menu above. Then add the generate Actor BP into the scene and select the right character name from the IClone character for Live Linking. You don't have to replace any character.

in both cases the characters were imported with atuo set up what should be i doing deferent? ?
