So far, it doesn't matter what project I open, my own or the default projects, when I try to Export an OBJ or FBX, CC4 crashes almost immediately after the pop-up window.
When I try to open or import something it's fine. Export to iclone is fine. It only happens at export to FBX or OBJ. This has to be some kind of bug and it really annoying now. The only option I have is to export to then out of iClone 8 as an FBX.

Sorry to hear you are having these problems exporting.
It is obviously not a general bug with the software as the vast majority of users have no trouble exporting so something else is causing the problem.
One thing that can cause these type of problems is if you have a shortage of drive space for the temporary files generated during export. By default temporary files are saved to the C: drive so do make sure you have plenty of free space (more than 20GB recommended). Sadly with small SSD drives fitted as the C: drive, limited space can be a common problem.
I would also recommend trying the export process with just the default figure (no hair, clothes, motions etc.). Does this export or does it still crash?
Finally, if you can post your full system specs, including graphic card, this can also help identify any problems. Thanks.

Thanks for your response. That is good to know. The character I was trying to export was a nude model though it did have eyebrows. I removed it and it exported. I tried it again with eyebrows and it crashed.
My C-Drive still has 166GB out of 1TB. The dive where I'm saving to has almost 456GB left of 4TB . Here are my current PC specs
Windows 10 pro, Version 22h2. OS build 19045.3570 Processor -AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX 32-Core Processor 3.00 GHz Nvidia 2x 2080ti RAM-64

Thanks for explaining more. Your specs are certainly not the issue and if you have plenty of hard drive space available then that is obviously not the source of the problem either.
If you haven't already, I would advise uninstalling CC4 and then do a clean install of the latest full version. Although a bit of a pain to have to do this, it often resolves unusual issues like you are experiencing.
However, if the problem continues even after a fresh install, then I would recommend contacting our Technical Support department who be able to take a deeper look into the problem for you.

In the end, it seems to be something with my system. The same thing was happening in Marvelous Designer 12 and recall last year with Substance Painter. I restarted Multplie time yesterday but restarting today seems to do the trick. Maybe it cleared the explore cash or some permission things. I'm not sure.
Thanks for all your help and input. Luckily I didn't have to reinstall.

You can always check in the Windows Reliability Monitor for a detailed description of the crash. It might be helpful to find the cause.
In your case, if the restart solved your problem, it could also be caused by an incomplete Windows update installation. Usually Windows will resume the installation during restarts. So the softwares might work now, because the update was finished.
