Hi, I am currently using iClone7. I used Acculips along with an audio file in order to send a character by fbx exported into Blender. The character was exported at 24fps. In Blender, when the shaders are not active and in viewport shading, the playback is very smooth. When shaders are active, the animation becomes choppy and lags. When I setup for rendering in Blender, the exported fps is at 24fps like the iClone fbx export. All of my render settings in Blender are ok, I think. When the final render is done, I playback the video in the Windows 10 media player and the character's animation is laggy, choppy, and slow. I have used both "Render Animation" and "Render Viewport Animation". I cannot figure out why both lag. I often animate objects, materials, physics, etc using Eevee with different settings and fps(s). I never have these issues until facial animation is being used. On a separate note, I use Auto-Rig Pro and the CC3 Blender plugin to rig the characters and the animation renders are always fine. I have also used a Google Playstore application called Retargeter by CGtinker that records facial movements in Blender and will apply facial movements that way; or iClone 7 Acculips then export as fbx into Blender, whether it is 24 fps or 30fps. Both methods will always lag without fail. I also use an ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 2 1070 gaming laptop. I do not know if it is my hardware, an incorrect render setting in either Blender or iClone 7, or something else I haven't figured out. I also removed the audio file in case that caused lag because it can be added afterwards in Premiere Pro. Thank you.
