i wasnt sure where else to post this, i was curious if popcorn fx that is advertised for iclone 8, if it works with iclone 7? i cant find anything about the plugin with iclone 7 anywhere, and everything directs me back to same popcorn fx for iclone 8? so is it possible that it can be used in iclone 7 then?

Yes PopcornFX works with both iClone 7 and iClone 8.

perhaps im doing something wrong, but, after seeing your reply, i clicked the "download" button in iclone 7 for the plugin, it took me to the site showing popcornfx for iclone 8, and since you said that it works for both iclone 7 and 8, i went ahead and purchased the plugin that showed advertised for 8 since i couldnt find the one for 7 anywhere, but as im installing, it stops saying that my current iclone edition wont use the data from this plugin, and that i dont need to install this plugin. am i missing something here? because i cant get the iclone 7 version, ive tried multiple times to look for that exact thing but either im doing something wrong, or it doesnt exist anymore, so im not sure what to do here.

There are separate versions of the Plug-in for iClone 7 and iClone 8. You can't install the iClone 8 version into iClone 7 and vice versa.
So in the Reallusion Hub select iClone 7.93 as the version you are using (it will have a check mark next to it) and then you should see the PopcornFX Plug-in for iClone 7 listed in the Add-Ons section as shown below.

i dont have any of those options in my reallusion hub for iclone 7 for some reason, its just a few options but nothing like what you have there, iclone 8 has all of those but iclone 7 doesnt have almost anything compared to that.

There is no iClone 7 Hub. If you do have an older version of the Hub installed remove it and ensure that you have the latest version of the Reallusion Hub installed on your system. You can download it from here.
