Hi there,

I've got a fullbody character in .obj format and I want to use Accurig and Headshot 2.0 to make a full controllable character out of it.
Can someone point me in the right direction to achieve this?

Because I can rig the character with Accurig and I can create a perfect match of the head with Headshot 2.0, but not combined?
I can't find the option to use my own body in 'Attach to body' besides the default ones.

Hope someone can enlighten me, allthough I'm afraid It's not possible.

This can be done with the tool R3DS Wrap. It works the same way as Headshot 2 but can convert the whole 3d model and not only the head.

Otherwise you have to do it manually, for example by importing the head via Headshot 2 and then using CC to modify body so that it looks like your original 3d model.

Or you export the CC base mesh to blender and deform it until it looks like your 3d model.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Reallusion will add the option in the future to import and convert complete base meshes. They already have the technology to rig non-CC meshes and they already can import non-CC heads. The only thing missing is the conversion of the body part.

My point exactly. Because I already can rig a non-CC mesh at this moment I presumed this combination would already be possible.
I'll have to take another route in this case. Problaby using a body from the Cartoon Character Designer pack and go from there.

Yeah, don't hold your breath.  If this was possible they would have done it already.

Headshow 2 really only leverages the tech they use in Transformer, which is to remap a mesh head to fit the CC3+ one.  THAT tech already existed, they only had to adapt it.  But mapping the entire body to the CC3+ one?  Ain't gonna happen.

I think your best bet for now is to create two different avatars and line them up (you can do this with the tools in Headshot) and then delete the mesh on the CC3+ one's body, and the head on the Accurig one.

Introduction of Headshot 2 opens up a lot more possibilities here.
In your case it's a little more work attaching head to the body in Blender, but also quite doable with enough skills.
Also routine may vary and be simplified if you have an OBJ for the body.

For me this upgrade of Headshot doesn't came at a better time as of now.
Since just recently I'm working on a project where I need a 1-1 conversion of a toon model which is just an obj-file. She must be able to act, talk etc. 
Without reading the manual (off course) and after watching the only 2 video's of Reallusion I just started and stumbled on this only issue. Getting the body and facial rig to work at the same time.

From a previous post of Eljofa, Peter(RL) replied only CC3+ are compatible for a body. (Still without reading the manual) And because I already own the Cartoon Character Designer Pack I chose that route. I converted the CC3 body mesh to CC3+.
My Blender knowledge is not that shabby, but I want to do this primarely in CC4.

So far I'm quite happy with the results.With the body morph sliders I'm able to match the body to the original imported body mesh. Matching textures and of course some minor tweaking/sculpting will be done in Blender.
The results of just pointing out 35 points on a static head is quite extraordinary in my book. This is only with some moving and smoothing in HS2,
