Time until new products are added to the Content Store

For several weeks now, I have noticed that it takes a lot longer for new products or newly Reallusion certified products to feature in the Content Store than it used to.  What is the point of having sales promos, if the Content Store is updated only once in a while?
I seem to remember it usually taking a few days after "certification" (i.e. from the time the laurel-wreath symbol appears on a product's page) for Marketplace products to also appear in the Content Store, now it seems more like 3 or 4 weeks or longer.
So my question is: why is this happening?  Do Marketplace content creators want Reallusion to wait with making their assets available in the Content Store?  Does RL not have enough staff to keep the updates more regular?

This is really the wrong place to ask. For any questions about certification, please contact developer[at]reallusion.com or you can contact Support using the link below. Thanks.

Is it?  I'm not a developer so I don't care about the certification process per se.  As a potential buyer of said products, I just would like to know why it takes so long after certification for the newly certified Marketplace product to became available in the Content Store.
However, I'll also put this question to Customer Service as you suggested.

Well, I could not find an appropriate choice of category, sub-category, etc. to ask that question on the Customer Support page. None of the options seemed appropriate (there was no "General question" or "Content Store question" or simply "Other". So I don't know how to properly contact Customer Support.

You can choose Question Type = General, Category = Website and Sub Category = Marketplace. The important thing is that you explain everything clearly to get the quickest response.

That said, if you are not a Developer asking about a submission, then contacting Support will not really be appropriate. If your question only relates to why content in general takes a time to appear in the Content Store, then that is down to many factors. Primarily this will be down to the number of content packs to be processed. During busy times when there are a lot of content packs being submitted it can take a time to generate the product page and the promotional images. Delays can also occur when the Content team are busy working on content for the next major product update and so on.

Okay. It is just that it did not use to take this long and there were, as I re-call, similar numbers of new items per week in the past, so I was just wondering what if anything had changed.

Basically, I'll just have to be patient, won't I?

Unfortunately yes. However, I will certainly pass on your feedback to the Content team to review.

FYI, as a developer myself (BBAlley) - we have noticed that it is taking longer before Certified packs show up in the content store.  The reason given was the amount of new developers has increased and it takes longer to "review" all the products.:Whistling:  We understand that some people prefer to only buy in the Content Store, rather than purchasing points.

Hi Alley,
I'm glad to not be the only one to notice this.

The reason why I prefer purchasing via the Content Store is simply the discounted price (i.e. the Elite and Prime discounts).  If I can get the same or better price on the Marketplace, I'm fine buying there. I don't mind purchasing points (actually, I usually spend around 100 to 200 USD a month on points), but - as a hobbyist - I prefer not to have to pay list prices... ;-)

Perhaps the review process takes longer on account of the number of creators. But that does not really explain why it takes so long for assets to feature in the Content Store once they have been certified. We are talking about several weeks in some cases. Unless, of course, moving the stuff over to the Content Store is also very time consuming...

Since I've been complaining about this issue, I should also point out that yesterday a ton of new content became available in the Content Store. Nice.
