Does headshot plugin work with CC4 only or can I modify the character face using AutoConnect for Unity.
I want to have a place where the character can be edited from Unity using the photo uploaded through unity.
Please let me know if possible.

If I understand you correctly, you want a Headshot plugin that works with Unity?
That would be a different plugin, as Headshot is specifically tailored to CC.
