I use blender preset in cc4, but after the latest update camera zoom which was ctrl + mmb doesn't work anymore. I have to use Alt + mmb to get it to work.
I use blender so it would be nice to have exactly same controls in cc4 since preset is there for that reason for blender user to use.

You can specify you own keyboard shortcuts by going to the Preference settings (Ctrl+P). Under Control you can define various shortcuts.

yes I metioned I use Alt+mmb now so I have done that, but still it is wierd that that I can't use Ctrl+mmb anymore.
Just now noticed I wrongly put this under I clone 8 when this is character creator 4 issue. If there is moderator out there please feel free to switrch this under character creator technical issue since this has nothing to do with I clone 8 thanks :)

I was able to define Ctrl+MMB in the Preference settings for ZOOM Camera. Does that not work for you?

I got it to work now.
For example Ctrl + left mouse option didn't work either on the blender preset. I tested today the "motion builder" presets which has that option by default and Ctrl + left mouse worked in that preset.
Then moved back to blender and had to manually change the "zoom Camera" buttons and tested again the Ctrl + mmb and it works now. I don't know what happened, but it works now :)

had the same problem today and now noticed that yeah it propably has worked all along but! you have to first push middle mouse button and then ctrl and then the zoom works. This is wierd since all other programs I have worked with you always push ctwl and then what ever this same logic is in games too and further more to make it even more nto easy to understand is that other navigation combos you first push Alt or shotf and then the mouse buttons :S
for example Pan camera you first push Alt then MMB it doesnt work otherway around. Why is it who decided to make this wierd combo that all other programs don't use makes no sense. Anyway that was the real problem all along.

There's clearly a bug here, I'm using 4.33.2315.1 and ALT+RMB refuses to map to zoom and instead maps to orbit, I've tried mapping ALT+MMB to zoom, and it orbits. I've tried swapping the MMB click and RMB click button configs on my Wacom Art Pen and problem persists.

I can change it for a mouse, so perhaps mapping with a Wacom pen works differently?

I have the latest versio 4.33 and still the same problem occurs. I first have to pus MMB and then ctrl in order to get the zoom workin. Wierd that this problem hasn't been fixed yet. Other combinations works first keyboard then mmb, but also otherway around too :D

Hi... Did you report it in the Feedback Tracker? To get issues fixed they need to be reported in the Feedback Tracker first. Once reported the dev team will log the issue, investigate it, and then give you a status update.
