I have no idea why they don't work on this side of the program instead of some unnecessary feature

It seemed OK for you when you participated in 2021 AccuLips contest.

Well at that time i was a beginner, i couldn't make any character myself. At that time i couldn't tell what's good and what's not.
That's why this program only target beginners.

Hi.
have you tried  importing Daz genesis 1,2,3,8 characters into CC4?
Daz has alot of different character types.

I have to disagree...

Character Creator 4 can certainly create compelling and unique characters. You only have to look at the Headshot page below to see some examples of what can be created. Of course there isn't a one click solution to create your own unique and compelling characters. You will need to use experience and creativity to get great results. This applies in all fields. Having all the best camera or video equipment won't make you produce award winning photography or Oscar winning movies. You have to bring something to the table as well.

The bottom line is we supply the tools that enable you to create unlimited unique and ultra realistic characters, but you will need to have the creativity to actually bring those characters to life.

Of course, nobody wants a one-click solution; creating characters needs special treatment since they are the most important part of communication, and not nailing the creation, you will come up with fake-looking characters! And yes, you can create unlimited characters, but for uniqueness and realism, I must disagree.- The realistic things about these characters are the shaders. Realism in 3D characters refers to the extent to which a character's appearance and behavior resemble those of real-life people. The character's look, smile, and overall appearance are fake. For example, look at a game like Bioshock infinite or any other decent game. Are the shaders realistic? Do they always maintain the correct human anatomy? No, but they just seem to look so real and alive, not fake. Four other 3D artists and I created many characters from the ground up, and they look as real as a character person would be. We just could not do that inside CC and the 1 million sliders that you promote. We have to export the character to some 3D software, and we have no problem with that. It helps speed up things. The problem is that we can get a base mesh from anywhere else.- It can not be unique when all characters have the same fake expressions, no matter what animation you use. Finally, I'm not writing to disparage the development team, their skills, and the amazing effort they're putting in. I would be very happy if they focused on the important things in character creation. I wish all the best to the Development team.

It seems you have founds external solutions so why are you still buying/using Reallusion characters and posting angry screeds  about them in these forums?

That is the question of the day...

Show us some of your creations in IC and CC and other programs so we can compare them.
You bad mouth Reallusion products without showing us your results.

Well, hey, Galactus Devourer of worlds, I do respect the amount of time you've put into the GALACTUS RISING. It's impressive, and I do appreciate it. But if this is the quality of the characters that CC can create, unique, compelling, and lively characters, good luck with that. "NOTE: NOT TALKING ABOUT ICLONE/OR ANIMATION"
There's no anger and no hate. As a customer, I have all the right to write about my experience with the product and review it. And as product sellers, they must learn to stop the defensive mechanism and listen to what their customers say. I personally will never bother writing unless I see a wasted potential for a product that I liked and used at some point. And the wasted potential for this powerful program comes from that defensive mechanism.

To answer your question. I stopped using
Reallusion products since the 2021 contest, and I forgot about them due to learning new software and workflows. Recently we decided to look again into it but this time was interesting to us since now we create our own. We thought about using them for mass production only, not for hero assets. And that's what brought me here.

Again I wish all the best to the development team

That film was made with 12 year old Daz millenium 4 characters with iclone 5-6 motion retargeted to them in Daz studio.
I use Blender now with latest Daz genesis figures because they look better than the Iclone figures IMHO
I only use Iclone /CC for base layer  motions
to be exported &refined in Blender after retarget to my ARP control rigs
I am also a content creator

I no longer need the Iclone/CC figure for rendering.
You claim here that you already have created “Real” looking  Bioshok level, Characters outside of Iclone so why are you here still complaining about Iclone Characters you no longer seem to need…
unless you are just a troll?

People often post about they can't accomplish this or that. More often than not, I think most think that all you have to do is buy they software and it will do everything for you. You've got to be willing to put in the work. I'm a good modeler, but I'm only a beginner when it comes to rigging, so I have to work within my limitations, and I'm not going to blame Reallusion for that. I find that it's better to give constructive feedback than it is to simply complain about this or that. One of the real hallmarks of that is that Reallusion has implemented more than a few of my suggestions --you don't find many software makers that are willing to listen to what their userbase tells them. The users here are more than willing to help and that says a lot for the environment, if nothing else. They're not perfect, but I think they are a good fit for people like me who have a desire to put in the effort to attain some results that are satisfactory. I was one of the main requestors of being able to rig our own geometry to work with Iclone and here we are will Accurig --which now allows me to do just that. You won't find many software environments that are that receptive to constructive feedback and suggestions.

I agree that it's better to give detailed feedback than a broad one. I might have been mistaken in this regard, but how defensive these guys are on the forum is beyond me.
Blender, Accurig, and Iclone
are decent workflows since they allow you to save time and still maintain a good result. Of course, some people have not got good results in animation using Iclone, but that depends on their skill level, and I will not blame Reallusion for that too; that's why I have not said anything about Iclone. But that's not the case with CC; my main point was regarding CC.
Finally, thank you for your fair post.
