I remember downloading a DAZ to Character Creator plug-in, but I can't find it on my content manager. How do I use it, and what am I doing wrong?

There are two ways to bring Daz characters into Character Creator 4.
The first is to use Transformer. This converts the Daz character to a standard CC3 or CC3+ character. The benefits of this are that you will be able to easily apply any of your CC clothing or other CC content straight onto the character. To learn how to use Transformer please click HERE.
The second method is to import the Daz character as a Humanoid (Non-Standard) character. Humanoid (Non-Standard) characters are not compatible with CC clothing but they do retain the higher polycount and textures of the original Daz model. To learn how to import Humanoid characters please click HERE.
In either case, once you have the converted character in CC4 you can save it in Content Manager under Actor > Character by clicking the Save button at the bottom.

Sounds great! Where do I find Transformer? I've looked in Plug-ins, it's not there. Maybe I didn't buy it, but I can't find it in the contents store!

Transformer is now a part of CC4 rather than an add-on. I think it should be in your CC4 toolbar by default but if you can't see it, go to Window->Toolbar->Transformer to add it back.

I looked for FBX in the dropdown menu in DAZ, but it's not there! I could understand if it were only true for older generations, but it's not available for ANY figure! What do I need to do? Is there a bridge I'm missing?

I'm an idiot! I apologize, please delete my other complaints about FBX files. I finally realized AUTOCAD is the FBX file! So sorry to be a pain.

COLINMAC2 (3/9/2023) I'm an idiot! I apologize, please delete my other complaints about FBX files. I finally realized AUTOCAD is the FBX file! So sorry to be a pain. Why would the file be called AUTOCAD? Is that the name of the character or do you have an AUTOCAD program that has taken over the FBX extension?
Some programs have the annoying habit to that. If you set them as default for opening the file the original description of the file lost and replaced with something like <program_name> File.
