We have a character created in maya, and would like to use it with the facial capture that iClone 8 uses (trial versions only, we don't know if this is the direction we want to go yet).
It's already skinned to the skeleton we wish to use, it has blendshapes that are named the same as the blendshapes when a character is exported from iClone 8, we just want to see the captures and tests on our character.
I haven't been able to find anything on this topic and a basic import only imports the fbx export as a prop.

Thank you! quick question... supposed I don't have all the facial blendshapes that iClone has on their characters, will what I do have still map and hook up?

Yes. You can just assign the ones you have. You will have limited facial expression, but the rig will drive them still.

Hello! I'm looking for some help getting a Maya-rigged character into Character Creator. I don't know Maya that well. I'm a C4d User. Can't seem to get this to work :(.
