I am considering buying the visual essentials package, which always seemed interesting, especially the super substance tools, but, I wonder if it will work only in iclone 7, so for iclone 8, is this package still useful?

For me the super substance tools is still usefull in Iclone 8. it seems that this tool is undervalued when it comes to what it can do.
For exemple you can make tears or change skin just with one slider (A-B blend tool)

Thank you for your answer. It is very interesting indeed. Sometimes I need to create new materials and textures. Until now I am being using Materialize, a free tool from Blender, but the possibility of doing this in real time seems impressive. I was checking that tool for some time, but I didn't see recent comments about it. One of my doubts is that it seems that the tool integrates with the iClone 7 (like a plugin?), so now my question is if can be used from iClone 8 or I need IClone 7 for working with it.

In the first video the demo was made with IC8. No need Iclone 7.
