I have done everything from several tutorials step by step then go back into IC7 and import the alembic file then it crashes every time. I have no idea as to why this keeps happening but it is beyond frustrating. Could someone help me with this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

You would have to share some alembic file which crashes on your iClone.
I or somebody else might then run it against IC7 and see if does crash too.

I got passed that part which was for me exporting the FBX for the clothes and then the alembic for the cloth animation afterwards in iclone i imported the clothes (fbx) then alembic file via Vertex Animation now the cloth animation is moving slow but out of sync with the body motion. Why it's out of sync and moving in slowmo?

Did you ever try to save the MD animation as an rlMotion? When I was using the trial version of IC8, I saved the MD animation on the timeline by
collecting clip and save in Motion Library or Motion Plus Library. You just use a basic avatar to get the MD animation, then collect clip and save.
Then you can use the avatar with the alembic cloth on the new collect clip motion.

You have to use 30 fps in and out of MD. There might be slight misalignment on certain frames in iClone  view-port, but the 30fps render would be fine.

If you still choose 60fps, then you need to get to Vertex animation track and use speed adjustment sliding a clip to the left to the half size frame mark.

@michaelrbarton
MD in this case is Marvelous Designer
