I was wondering if we could rig and animate animals through this?

Do you mean using AccuRig?

If so then only if the animal is bipedal like an Ape. You can't rig four legged animals like dogs or cats.

Hi, did we get any update on this? I mean can we rig quadruped in AccuRig/CC4 now? 
Also is there Maya to iClone pipeline like Blender?

AccuRig is designed for rigging human and other types of bipedal characters. There are no plans to support quadruped or other types of animals at this time. However, you can import pre-rigged quadruped characters using CC4's "reature" import option.

Also is there Maya to iClone pipeline like Blender?


The Auto Setup tools are only available for Unreal, Unity and Blender at this time. CC4 has a pre-set for export to Maya but you may need to manually adjust the materials within Maya to get best results.

Oh..Ok. We imported pre-rigged quadruped character in cc4 using creature option. Then we added animations in perform list. Animations were created in Maya. But we didn't get the facial control in iClone. Can we just use facial animations/face mocap on this quadruped character?
