AccuRIG not displaying textures

Hey everyone, just started playing around with this and I realize it's new software.
However...I am having alot of issues with models not loading and/or displaying textures in the AccuRig preview window. The meshes load fine, but their textures are missing.
I've tried several models with varying texture types (jpg, png, tga) etc...and also tried re-exporting the models from different file formats. Nothing works.
The sample models work fine, but nearly ALL of the models I've tried don't work. I would say 1 out of 10 will work.
Any thoughts or guidance is greatly appreciated.

On a side note...this software is quite amazing! I've always struggled with the whole rigging thing, and this takes all the headaches out of the process...great stuff!

Hi TheTone,
I've noticed the same thing, but I think its just a display issue in the AccuRIG  software. Once you export out tor FBX it should work fine.

Hi Jeff...thanks for the reply
You maybe correct, however it's a shame that you can't see the textures in the application...and then when you export it to ActorCore to test out your model with animations, the textures are also missing there too. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's a shame you can't see your model animating with all the right textures applied.

Maybe they will fix it soon...or post some detailed instructions on how best to prep your mesh/textures. For example, it's unclear whether your textures need to be in the same folder or a subfolder (of the same name). I've tried both along with a bunch of other things...but to no avail.

As noted earlier...this is new software, so hopefully they will fix it soon!

Hi thetone,

Thank you for using our new application, we appreciate it a lot.
Is it possible to provide the model that has missed the texture to us?
We will try our best to find out the reason.
Thank you

Best Regards,
Tim

Hi Tim, thanks for responding!

I have a bunch of examples that I could send...but I'll find one and zip it up. Please let me know how best to get it to you.

On a side note, I've since been "tooling around" and found a workflow that seems to work. I take my mesh and textures and load it into Iclone8, re-export it as an FBX (with embedded textures). Then when I load the newly exported model into AccuRig, the textures appear. A bit cumbersome, but it does seem to work.

At any rate...happy to send you some examples, just let me know the process ;)
