Hi forum,

Just installed Iclone8 trial version but the viewport is orbiting non stop!!! I tried changing cameras and went trough all the different view options but it just wont stand still!!
I have also installed Character Creator4 trial and had no issues!
Does anyone know how to fix this?...I literally didn't do anything inside the program! Thanks:)

I definitely feel your pain! I just had that issue and found out that my “game” controller was the issue. Use a standard mouse and unplug any other controllers you have connected (whether they are on or off). Let me know if that works out! It cured mine immediately.

Hi KGD,

Thanks, that solved it:) Its so awkward though...

Btw I'm new to Reallusion software, my main goal is to create some game animations, I was trying Character Creator4 but couldn't find a animation editor in it.

Do I have to use Iclone or is there anyway to create the character and its animation in CC4 alone?

Thanks again:)

Glad we could help. As far as the CC4 animation, check out this video. From CC3 to CC4 things have changed (No 3D xchange necessary).

Check this out: https://youtu.be/ikYlzrKdxPQ

Hope this helps.

Yeah I have now seen what each program does.

My current issue is I have uploaded my custom made Fuse characters in Mixamo and exported to be animated in IClone, cause I thought CC4 would convert them automatically without need for manual rigging!

It seems CC4 only imports correctly the Mixamo website characters but not custom ones, I might just keep doing it all in 3Ds Max.

Were you able to upload your Fuse Character to Mixamo? Uploading your Fuse Character to Mixamo and then downloading it with animations attached may help. I believe you will love the character creator process in CC4.

Yes I have been uploading my Fuse Characters to Mixamo and them downloading to CC4, both with and without animation but still I need to perform some manual adjustments like correct the feet rigging and some skin weights!

I will still explore the software as much as I can, cause I like it so far:)

Edit: Just solved the feet rigging problem. My imported characters are really small and I have to increase their size in the proportion menu, and it seems because of that the walking animation becomes messed up. I found out that in the Bones settings if I slide their size bar up and down, the animations play correctly!!! ...again awkward but it works!!

New edit: Sorry forget about the first edit. Still having trouble and its not necessarily related with what I said above. I'm still trying to find a solution for this issue.
