Hello! I'm a new user to CC4, and I've brought in several Daz characters through the transformer tool, which has more or less been good enough. Today I tried to import an FBX file for a character with the 'Create Character' option, but while I was adding textures, the character looks extremely pale and washed out. I've been experimenting with it for a few hours with no usable results. When I upload the FBX to Blender and add textures, it looks as it is supposed to, so I must be doing something wrong in CC4. The only difference between this and the Daz characters I used in the past is the method of importing, using Transformer didn't require me to add textures manually, and it isn't an option for this character. Thanks for the help!
*Note, the eyelashes are untextured because I think I'm missing a file from the original purchase.

Hey, It going to be a little hard to help you diagnose the problem without actual access to the characters and also without seeing your lighting setup. You will find that a lot of CC characters you see have several Post Effects in the Visual tab added to achieve the viewport renders they show off. See if adding a Color Adjust, or (LUT) Contrast into the visual tab to see if you start to get the results you are looking for.
Update: Here a export Contrast Effect

I think your rendering method may be set to "Minimal" Try setting it to "High". Also check the strength slider for the texture. It may be set to 80% instead of 100%. Slider is just under the texture thumbnails.

Thanks for the responses! I'll look at both of these options, but I realized that this character doesn't have a facial rig that can be used in iClone, so I abandoned as a lost cause. Thanks for your help!

Hi,
Just adding this for answer just in case someone else ask/search about this issue; Another place to check is the both the "Use sRGB" and "Strength" in the texture panel. Using the strength slider, you can adjust the overall strength of the texture.
*UPDATE* Realized after posting that @Rampa had already mentioned this...including a helpful tip about checking the render level
