just short of uninstalling IC8, only 1 CC4 character works (CC4 Kevin.ivatar) I created a bunch of CC3, CC3+ characters and inported into IC8, then click the MD button. I keep getting the same error, (Motion Director Failed to Load please confirm proper pack instalation)
no matter if I drag an MD file on the character or try the MD button only 1 character works,
I have created characters in CC4 and created CC3 and CC3+ characters and converted to actorBuild base characters then sent them all seperately into iclone 1/3 of the time I get a crash as soon as I hit the MD button.
I have tried with a plane for a floor (only the Kevin.iavatar is working. I do not see any options to create CC4 character, the only one I have not tried is cc1, but I did drag a cc1 into IC8 and Motion Director dos not recognize any of them except the one CC4 Kevin
I also tried to drag a character onto the CC4 Kevin model thinking this would just transfer the MD to the new model, instead it went red and not working on the new model CC3 and CC3+,
I tried on other cc4 models and MD get same errors, I do not see the plugin on the list in the Rl HUB or in the Plugin Menu in IC8, I am trying not to reinstall IC8, but just to reset the MD part of it, I do not want to go through syncing all my files several hours later after a re-install
Because of the error please confirm propper pack instalation I also went into the Content TAB and opened up Packager and clicked on the Motion Director on the drop down file list in Packager and clicked refresh
I am I missing a step? I have tried all ways the RL Youtube tutorial showed along with anything I could think of, How do I get this to connect correctly? also the Bahaviour section just stays grey and to way to add a behaviour in any character other than the CC4 Kevin model. This was working before i downloaded the email link the other day that installed missing assets. now it feels and looks broken for the MD option
is there an easy link option that I am missing for MD when trying to use a character other than the CC4 Kevin.iavatar?

You can try uninstalling the MD animations from the content manager and reinstalling them.
In the same way, you can try to remove the other character from the content manager and reinstall it.
Sometimes uninstalling and reinstalling fixes it, unless MD itself is faulty directly.

Thats a problem, I went into my RL account and found the MD packs I purchased, thinking to just reinstall from there, but when trying to install with RL downloader I got an error no software installed associated with them and they would not try to install to give me an option to backup and overwrite, so if I delete the files I would not be able to get them back in if the new content manager might not show them. I do not feel like risking uninstalling IC8 to reinstall just for 1 tool not working. I wish they would just put the MD tool inside the Reallusion HUB so I can just uninstall that part of it and then re-install it there to reset it correctly after that last email update messed it up. if I delete the MD packs I purchased will they show up as not installed?

RL downloader doesn't work for CC4 and iC8 anyway.
Yes, if you uninstall it, it will show as not installed and you can right click and install it again. If there was such a problem, you wouldn't be able to see it already installed.
Anything you delete from the content manager is not removed. (Except for your own custom works)

I do not see any "uninstall" options all I can do is go to file and delete the files for the packs in there, where is the individual uninstall options? and here is what happens if I try to install from my account purchases. deleting and uninstall are they the same in this case? this seems risky to delete libraries that will not re-install
