Quick question before I purchase iClone 8 when I started with Iclone 5 we needed 3dxchange to import props in, so do I need CC4 to import daz3d props in, or is Iclone 8 capable of doing this function alone?
Thank you so much.

You can drag and drop things like accessories into iClone 8 without the need of any other programs.

CC4 is for avatars - now, you can also do the same thing in it for accessories, but it's not needed if you aren't using avatars.

Thank you for your reply, Kellytoons.

I made a custom character/avatar in Blender and rigged it.  In iClone7, I can just import the character using 3D Exchange.  In this case, it looks like, I will need CC4 to import my character into iClone 8.  Would this be correct?  Thanks.

For importing rigged characters you would use CC4 rather than iClone 8. However, you can still use 3DXchange 7 for this process if you prefer. Characters converted using 3DXchange can still be used in iClone 8.
