Hey! I tried to use the Livelink with IClone 8 and Unreal Engine 5. The connection seems to be working fine but after I activate the link, the mannequin in Unreal Engine looks distorted. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem?

Edit: Oh, it seems I have the same problem with IClone default character also.

You may have made a mistake somewhere, you can take a look at the video below.

Very strange. It seems I did all the steps. I try to install the plugin again for IC8. I already reinstalled Unreal Engine 5 plugin via Marketplace

Ok, I tried with a different project and reinstalled the UE5 plugin and reinstalled the IC8 Livelink plugin. Same problem. As soon as I activate the link, the character gets distorted (The Skeletal mesh is fine and dandy without the link being active). I tried it with Unreal mannequin and I tried it with IC8 models (Camilla). Can anyone try and verify it works on your end? Older IC7 and UE4.27 work fine.

This is a really interesting problem Is the auto setup plugin installed? You can transfer normal characters and motion without using a live link and check if it works properly.

Okay... I started a brand new project and everything works fine there. I am baffled. No matter what I do in my main project, the characters gets distorted. Maybe I just copy the files over a new project and go with that. Really strange.

Good suggestion. It seems that even with normal import, they get distorted when playing animation. I mentioned in the previous message that everything works when starting a new project. Could it be that there is something different in Import settings and the Livelink will automatically apply the settings you have?

Honestly, I have no guesses about it. Maybe there is a problem with the auto setup plugin. You can try by deleting this plugin and reinstalling it in the plugin folder. You can transfer the files in your old project to your new project by migrating. I think some files may have been corrupted in your old project.
