CC4 Pipeline version

Hi,
Today I installed CC4 but previously I had bought the bundle pack with IC7 and CC3 Pipeline. So the IC8 and CC4 was given as free upgrade.
However I was disappointed to see that the CC4 is not the pipeline version and I cannot transfer anything to IC from CC4.  
Does anyone know if the pipeline version of CC4 will be created and if it will be given as free to owners of CC3 pipeline?

You can transfer from CC4 to iC8 
Once you create an Avatar just save project and click on screen but not on Avatar.

Then send to Iclone button won't appear disabled.
I had confusion on this too.

Perfect :). This seems to be new in CC4. Anyways I tried your suggestion and indeed transfer to IC button is now enabled.

Hi... There is only one version of CC4 and it is the full Pipeline version.

Lucky you. Newcomers often get better deals than old-timers. I bought "iClone 7 + iClone 3DXChange 7 Pipeline" and "Character Creator 3 Pipeline + CC Essential Complete Bundle (Export Version)" bundles in the year 2018. I hoped my upgrade price would be small, but my offer for CC4 says "$249", which is the full price I paid for the CC3 bundle. I also have Headshot and Skingen Premium, and, as I understand, Headshot would need an upgrade too, to work with CC4. Ouch. Not sure if I will upgrade; my hobby is getting too expensive...

If I'm not mistaken, your add-ons will be upgraded for free within the campaign when you upgrade.

Thanks for the info, you are right about the plugins, I found the activation page and it recognized me as eligible for free plugin upgrades.
So, now I have the new plugins. All that's left is to buy the main software :D

Interesting, I didn't know that only plugins are upgraded without software.
I'm pretty sure I've read articles that we'll be entitled to plugin upgrades when we upgrade programs to a new version.:blink:

Of course, since you won't be using the plugins without the main software, it may be to encourage you to upgrade :)
