Hello all, well I finally got all 10 free resource packs to install in Iclone 8 but still only showing 3 in CC4. Does anyone know how many are supposed to be there in CC4? I'm still missing a bunch of CC4 resource content- Makeup and other stuff- never had this much trouble installing software before- Goodluck everyone

CC4 should have 8 resource pack.

Thanks for the info Luke, I can only get 3 resource packs now- Characters, Animation and CC4 Projects. I also tried to create CC3 custom content link to acess my CC3 content but not sure what 'unified directory' to use-

This is starting to get ridiculous, one minute I can find content the next I can't sync the programs and things still don't show.I'm starting to think this new 'Smart  Gallery' is messed up

Well it's day two and I still can;t find or download full resource packs for CC4 , Updated drivers ,uninstalled, reinstalled both programs more times than I will admit and  still missing the majority of content that is supposed to download with the program - the entire content directory is a complete shit show

To think Iclone 7 and CC3 installed so seamlessly even I could handle it as my install vocabulary consists of 'OK' and Next. Sure hope this gets straightened out as I hate wasting so much time just trying how to install programs

This may be a dumb question, but have you restarted the CC4 and IC8 applications?
I had to go into the main menu Help -> Activate Purchased Items to get some things to load.
I also took a tour through my Packs (not just the new stuff at the bottom, but went through them all one-by-one  to be sure) and found a few items from the CC3 world that still needed to be downloaded, even though I could swear I had already downloaded them already (I installed all of the new Reallusion software on my D: drive because C: was getting full).

Sorry to hear you are having all these problems.

You may want to reset your Smart Content Manager database. It may help resolve the problem for you. Instructions can be found below.

Amen,!!!!!! thanks so much Peter, resetting the data base worked like a charm , I was getting pretty frustrated with some of the bizarre stuff my directory was doing- you da man!!!!!!!!!!!!
