wait a min... I was told to purchase all iC7 and CC3 plugins and was guaranteed all plugins purchased will be working for iC8 and CC4 without repurchasing them. Now, all these plugins say (TRY/BUY)!

Hi... Did you purchase the plug-ins using different accounts? The redeem link I posted checks the account you are currently signed in on. If you purchased the other plug-ins with a different account then you will need to contact Customer Support and ask them to merge your two accounts together.

I have checked your account and see the SkinGen Plug-in for Character Creator 4 listed along with a serial number for it. Please try refreshing the browser page to see if it appears. Alternatively close down your browser and try opening it again on the Registration page. You can also try Refreshing the Hub and the SkinGen Plug-in For Character Creator 4 should appear.

Let me just say this, and don't take it the wrong way. I didn't even know it had been released, just saw a bunch of 5 min videos in my YT feed. No email or anything after being a long-term customer for over 6 years. The products look very good for the upgrade but the announcement of release and details is, well not good. A single video announcing the release with an overview would have been good. Also, the forum threads I subscribed to i.e UE 4 and UE 5 tips and tricks don't seem to exist anymore. It doesn't inspire me to give more money. I don't know what will work on my previous investments or anything. Just an email would have been good.
Oh, I did get an email, but just a standard one regarding content for the month etc. Nothing about the major upgrade and new release.

I was able to get all of the plugins including headshot, skingen, etc..., but the materials like Realistic Human Skin and MakeUp & SFX for skingen are not showing up as available in CC4. I was able to install a number of items by going to my previous orders page and downloading/installing via Install RLD, but am missing things that are available in CC3 and not here. Hoping this will get fixed soon. So far, I like CC4, but want my content included if at all possible. Won't be paying again for it.

As a workaround, load a male or female character first (Neutral_M.ccavatar or Neutral_F.ccavatar)
Then, at the Headshot dialog, select Current (not Male or Female) as Body Type, select a Skin Type as desired, and click Generate:

Nobody told me that before. As I understand it, all plugins purchased for iClone 7 would automatically be usable in iClone 8 as well. That's how it was communicated. I hope this clears up.

You should have gotten an email about the plugin updates with a link that gets you to a page listing the plugins you are entitled too with their serial numbers.

Headshot and skingen plugin works with CC4. The system may have erred here and assumed you were only eligible for iC8. It might be helpful to submit a ticket about this. Because add-on upgrades are only valid for the main program you qualify for.

Right now the RL team seems to be in trouble with their support tickets. I think this may take some time.:) But still, check the notification links on your membership page from time to time. Maybe there is something you missed or a new link can be added there when the fix is available. Sometimes emails are sent late.

Could someone please tell me how likely is it that Reallusion really wants me to repay this? I'm very much on hot coals. That would be $600!!! I could understand if you pay a corresponding amount for further development. But not more than the original price again.

Yes, your page may be in cache and you can see the old page. Clearing this history will fix it. If there is no such problem on the page, it means that this fix has already been applied.

No problem, rosuckmedia is one of the names I respect on the forum. I've read a lot of her posts and she's a helpful person. Maybe he reflected on me the stress caused by the mishaps in new programs and updates. I don't hold a grudge against anyone for a few posts on the forum site we use to help each other.
In the meantime, my web project, which has a 10-year history and which I have been developing for global use for the last 2 years, is about to end. Reallusion's website inspired me. I really appreciate the web developer of the RL team. I am sure that visuality, colors and site appeal increase sales more.

I asked if anyone could tell me if Reallusion was serious about paying me $600 again for the Rococo profile after I paid $500 for it a few months ago. I think that's a lot of money we're talking about here. Doesn't anyone think that's really unfair?

Plugins will be upgraded for free if I'm not mistaken. This has to include profiles. If you're eligible for upgrades, I think you should open a ticket for it. I think you can get a free upgrade. You can check the same page again in a clean browser with sungod's suggested method.

Many thanks for your response! That sounds positive at first. I have iClone largely for the Unreal Engine connection in conjunction with the Rokoko profile. If the purchased Rokoko profile only works in version 7, I don't need version 8 either. Let's hope for the best :).

If you purchased the Rokoko profile for iClone 7 then you don't need to purchase it again for iClone 8.

After installing the Trial version, it does not automatically switch to the original version. You can check if it is installed normally from the drop-down box. In order to install the normal version, you need to uninstall the trial version.
Update:
If I remember correctly, when the normal version of the plugin is added to your account, you should be able to see the normal version at the bottom, since the trial version is installed. However, you need to make sure that you have the license of the plugin from the registration page.

Unfortunately this there is a known issue with the SkinGen tools not showing up. We are working as fast as we can to resolve the issue and hope to have it fixed soon.
