hello all =) im setting up a scene for rendering in blender and im noticing these white stripes/bands on the figure. its not in the texture, and if pushed to iclone renders fine and also renders fine in character creator. its probably some texture setting, but ive no clue why, if used dark skinned figures in scenes before and never seen or noticed this... its not the veins either, but only shows in blender.

That looks like a case of: "Shadow Terminator Artifacts"
It happens when ray-tracing over low poly geometry and the sharp edges of the geometry cause ridges in the shading. Blender has some settings to fix it.
In the Object Properties -> Shading settings try setting the Geometry and Shading offsets to 0.1 or higher. (Or just the shading if its before Blender 3.0)

You can also further reduce it by using Subdivision modifiers on the mesh.

many thanks =) thats like castlevania where you go all the way to the edge of the village and kneel for like 10 seconds to get the tornado to take you the other village for the boss, lol... id never have figured that out
