I checked my content today and it was not showing up in all categories as it should anymore so I had to edit all my content packs to get it showing up in iclone and character creator searches and had to remove old links to store which does not exist anymore FYI
anyone else go thru this?

Yes just noticed this myself... Have to go through my content and add tags for the search engine to link to the content.

I have some free items for sale and it seems then that the stores as such are gone? Which makes it a bit harder to present ourselves?

My traffic report shows nothing for store or portal since the 1st also not sure how that will work now with no stores..

i could talk about this, but i need a moment to see what i have to gain for talking about it, or just shutting up and laughing quietly, still not even sure what exactly i should be laughing at either...so many choices. lol - i'm pretty sure the big reveal will happen when cc4 and ic8 comes out, - do we study the algorithm, change the algorithm or i dunno -shrug- requires more data. I do enjoy making nfts tho, so there's that.

nah, i noticed it too, but I don't want to rush to make judgement, I'd rather see how it plays out and how I adapt.
I like to keep a balanced perspective, so far I just see 1 side and many variables.
The sun tzu of it - if it's an enemy doing it, study them, if it's a friend support them - either way....patience. lol

My free items are doing very well...:P Already 35 sales since Jan 1!
Maybe because soon there will only be Export which is not free...:unsure:

I've had a handful of sales since the "change" (maybe call it "The Purge"? lol) and a bunch of "freebies" sales. But so far, I'd say things have slowed down a LOT since then. Maybe because there aren't stores any more (no nice place to go shopping for the customers?)
Early days, though.

I see it starting to pick back up some also .........I looked at my 1 free character I have listed he has been dl over 30 times since the 1st . before making him free I had him listed for $1.00 and could not sell him for nothing lol

I see they still kept the traffic report link, yet it only reported the traffic going to our store and portal pages. what possible reasons could they have to keeping a link that points to a non-existing page ? what could it be repurposed to ? was it an oversight ? they trying to give us a hint with sarcasm ? :P
I think what we need is a red light district, probably the most appropriate place to buy my twerking motions - I noticed that this "Staff Picks" is a way to overshadow both the content and marketplace with a corporate directed preference. with a Red Light District, they can just put up "Enter at your own Risk" "RL Does not monitor this area" "Caution, you have been warned" "Adults only and you must wear a mask to enter" buttons and still make a profit on the black market without having to change your approach on the content and marketplace - the market place is a nice safe place to bring the whole family!

The back-end management is due for a major overhaul, starting with reports as you mentioned and ending with confusing message center.
