Hello!
Anyone know if there is a way to allow characters to move with objects, via Unreal Live Link? for instance, I have a scene where some actors are on a long boat which is moving with the water, no static.

You can link the character to the object and it will move with it.
Select your character, and then in the Modify tab look for the Link button.
Click that (the cursor will change to sort of a square) and then select the object you want to link to.
EDIT: I may have been too quick, because you want it via live link...

Yes, Thanks for the reply! I'm probably trying to do something that livelink isn't made for :) I have a scene in unreal where a boat is floating on the ocean using the BP_Buoyancy blueprint and trying to attach the actor or origin to the boat. If the boat is a static mesh then attaching the origin does the trick and I can animate the movement in sequencer in unreal. Maybe just use the buoyancy BP for other boats in the background.

if anyone is interested, I was able to work this out. Simply by attaching the LiveLink Origin to the movable mesh. My problem, it turns out was with the boat where I was trying to place the actors, the collision box was way to high, once I simplified the collision box, it worked great. Now I have characters on a floating boat that I can control in iclone via live link :)
