Ok, I do not get it.
Why can I not export fbx because of the screen resolution? the button to export is under the screen and can not be moved or resized.
Why have they not fixed this issue?
It is a easy fix I'm sure.
you can drag the window size of most all the gizmos in Character Creator v3.44.
But you can not adjust the size of the export window.
it looks to me like a easy thing to fix.
why should my resolution be to blame when the program creators need to fix this.
It is very frustrating and stupid.

Hi...
The required screen resolution for iClone and Character Creator is 1920 x 1080 or higher. Are you using a lower resolution?
If you have a modern graphic card that runs iClone and/or Character Creator you should be able to adjust the resolution to be 1920 x 1080. It is normally only older graphics cards and monitors that don't support 1920 x 1080 and these would not really be compatible with iClone or CC3 anyway. If you can adjust your screen resolution to 1920 x 1080 this will allow the Export panel to display correctly.

My display is at
1366x768 and I do not have any option to change it to 1920 x 1080 and this was my point.
Now I have to buy another pc to justify something that can be fixed in the programming of the program.

What kind of PC do you have (Desktop, Laptop?) and which graphic card are you using? It may be that you only need to use a different monitor that supports 1920 x 1080 or higher.
Unfortunately 1366 x 768 is really a low resolution for todays software which is now moving to even higher resolutions like 4K. Sadly you will run into problems unless you can upgrade to a higher resolution.
However, I will pass on your feedback to the Character Creator team for them to review.

There's a little program called AltDrag, that lets you alt-click and drag the window from anywhere inside it, not just the title bar. It will let you push the window up so you can press the buttons at the bottom. (I would recommend unbinding the left-alt hotkey in the configuration so it doesn't interfere with the character creator viewport navigation hotkeys.)

Well thank you as I and others just can not go out and buy new equipment just to export something.

Which card you have on your PC and which card software you use? I can simulate this on my OLD monitor and check.

Can you give me a screen to check. I wasnot able to replicate your issue. I was able to export to FBX on 1366 X 768 Monitor

There can be possibly two tricks to make it come back at correct position.
1) Force the program to run at even lower resolution and then open Export dialog and drag it up, close the dialog- Close the Program and Then Revert to Default resolution,
Basically right click on exe and go to compatibility and change resolution e.g. your case 800 x 600 etc , bit lower 2) Uninstall and Reinstall. 3) I could be completely off the base with 1 and 2, but in my case i was able to export as the button to export is visible @1366 x 768 Cheers and All the best

I switched to the resolution you use just to see if there is any issues. There is no issue when i use thar resolution. What is your dpi/scale setting on the screen? It worked for me with both 100% and 125% if you go higher i don't know what happens. I did this on Windows/PC.

It is not possible to export FBX at @1366 x 768 with the latest CC, unless you are using third party app to get control over the form like Victor mentioned.

It's not even the matter of supporting certain resolution. It's an omission in development to provide an aesthetic user interface in some instances. I certainly do not work at that low resolution, but it always annoys me when that large FBX export form (with whole lot of wasted space at the bottom - I mostly export Mesh only) is dumped on the screen without the option to resize. Some other forms do have an option for resizing. Why not this one?

Yes, it is, it is wasted space, and a lot of it.
I Should have not have to buy a new pc just to export. this pc runs cc just fine. a little slow but it works and I have to jump through hoops just to export.

All software from your operating system to apps and games have system requirements and always have. Of course it would be great if we could use 10 year old hardware to run latest software and games but you can't. That's just a fact of life that we have long had to get used to.
As I mentioned previously you shouldn't need to buy a new computer. You may just need a new monitor providing your graphic card supports 1920 x 1080, and I would think it should if it can run CC3 well. Even if you have a laptop with a built in screen you should still be able to connect an external monitor with the required resolution.

I'm sorry but this was not my point.
I have a two year old laptop that runs the products just fine.
And as a computer programmer I know how easy it is to implement windows you can drag.
In iclone you can use the mouse wheel to scroll down for many things.
So I know they can do this.
If I buy a product that my machine is supported for then little things like scalable windows is not asking much.
In a iclone project demo they set up is a talking guy who says.
We make it how they want , not how we think it should be and to be honest to many things show this not to be true.
Others who have my pc specks can run and export, but I can not?
Just make a update, that's all I am asking and others. And not a update I have to buy.

UPDATE:
In CC4 we will try to make the export panel scrollable. Although it is recommended to use a screen at 1920 x 1080 or higher, this should help users with lower resolution screens.

Peter, You guys made it scrollable once (between CC3.3 and CC3.4 ). It made it worse as a lot of people never noticed a tiny scroll bar and were looking for ways to use "Delete Hidden Faces" and other, which were hidden by default at the bottom. Please make it scrollable AND resizeable. It should have full size by default and users with low resolution should be able to resize from the top with scroll bar added on the fly.

Well That does not solve my cc3 export problem but at least it is a fix for the next version in which I will buy when it is out.
