Mouse Pointer is Flickering

I'm a long time DAZ user and only just heard about iClone. I installed the trial but I'm having a weird problem. Once the app is running my mouse pointer flickers between the pointer and hour glass, as if it's trying to process something, but it never stops. I can interact and use the program fully, but the pointer flickering is driving me insane. It's only when iClone is the active app. If I move to a different app (while iClone is still running even) the flickering stops. It's only happening while I'm actively using the app. 

I've updated all drivers including Nvidia, Windows is fully up to date, and I can't find anything in event viewer. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

Sorry to hear you are having problems.

Some things worth checking:

1. Check if your mouse and keyboard drivers need updating. This might be the cause of the problem if you have a programmable mouse rather than a basic three button mouse.
2. If you are using a wireless mouse and keyboard, try with a wired mouse and keyboard (if you have one) to see if it makes a difference.
3. If you have peripherals plugged into your computer like a scanner or printer, try unplugging them and see if that stops the flickering.

@peter -  I've seen this happen too in past iclone iterations,  it eventually stopped after a few updates on ic7 -   makes me wonder if the demo version has the latest updates.

Hi PSD... The latest trial version is updated the same as the full version. I have tested the trial version and no flickering occurred for me. I don't think that is the issue here.

Well, I'm not sure what happened the first time around but I did a reinstall of iClone and the issue is gone. Gremlins, must have been gremlins.
