I bought cc3 about 2 months ago and now cc4 is announced...

Is upgrade to cc4 free for owners of cc3?

If you are a registered iClone user, you can but CC4 for $249. I am thinking of buying some DA Points, and banking them every month, and saving up for CC4

Thanks. So it is free to upgrade it from Iclone 7 to 8 right? I own cc3 and iclone 7 both. May get 3dxchange plugin if so.

No the upgrade from iClone 7 to iClone 8 is not free. It is a paid upgrade. It's also important to note that 3DXchange functionality is built into iClone 8 and CC4 so you won't need 3DXchange with the new versions.

I am a unity developer and i have purchased iClone, CC3 and 3DXCHANGE plug in. As i understood there is no free upgrade. But the question is: will you support this software for other game engines? i.e. we had many problems lately with CC3 and the newer versions of unity. After CC4 are you willing to support CC3?

According to replies in other threads, all development of IC7 and CC3 will cease once IC8 and CC4 are released. The older apps will continue to work as-is after that time but all future updates will be for the newer software.

I have the "Free" version of CC3 that came with Iclone7, but NOT CC3 Pipeline, will I be able to upgrade to CC4 or will I need to purchase CC3 Pipeline before I will be eligible for the upgrade price?
