iClone Lip Sync Animation Contest (LumberJack) WIP

LumberJack is a gritty, slightly groomed character, created to help persuade more members and new users to enter the iClone Lip-Sync Animation Contest 2021.

After diving into the new features of Explus and AccuLips on my first entry Tears in Rain - BladeRunner - I decided to make a second entry using similar techniques but this time to see how quickly I could make a character in CC3 with standard assets.
To have more fun with the creative process and create animation quickly in iClone 7.9.

Production Method:

I spent some time to create the script and found the Samson voice in Replica Studios AI Voice Actors fit the character perfectly.
The Replica Studios - AI Voice Actors is a free plugin for iClone 7.2 and above - a great way to create character voices quickly. 

The LumberJack character was made in CC3 in less than 2 hours, exported to iClone 7.9 and the Replica Studios - AI Voice Actors audio download was imported and used with AccuLips and then the Explus feature for the facial expression.
I had the first animated pass of the scene within a few minutes.

Back to CC3 to add some dirt and grime layers and the CC3 character was complete.

Now over to iClone to noodle with the animation. (Animation render will be posted later).

Top Pro Tip:

Definitely finding that spending too much time on the animation in one session can slow the creative process.
Shorter sessions or giving a day in between passes helps you get more done with a fresh approach to what you are creating.
Often I create other characters (not just one), which helps me focus on the detail by hopping between the two.
