How can I adjust the tongue for a custom character. I mean so that he can lick. There is no option to access to the tongue , only transform and change the shape, but not to adjust lick property Any suggestions?
Character Creator is nice, but not perfect. e.g. why can I not adjust weight on the character or these lick, why am I losing the eye blink if I want to use the accu Lips Ex Plus ? As Developer, I need also more access to create human creatures, not only ordinary human. As soon as the shape is unique, I reach the limits of CC. The Figure is nice but not perfect adjusted. :doze:

Can you record a video or take some screen shots so we can better tell what you're trying to do and what the issue is?
I'm not sure what you mean by losing the eye blink. It's important to keep in mind that CC3 is not animation software.
For the tongue, go to the Modify Tab > Motion Pose Tab > Edit Facial > Select ExPlus_Tongue under the Expression Set drop down menu > Select the lips. Then you can click and hold the left mouse button and move your mouse around to adjust the tongue. There are also some tongue morphs under the Morphs tab > Head > Tongue. You can also use the transform tools and then adjust bones tools under the attributes tab depending on what you're trying to accomplish.
For creatures, you are a bit limited by constraints of the base mesh. But you can push the mesh pretty far, you aren't constrained to the morph "limits", you can either bake a current morph (destructive so I tend to avoid) or you can manually type in a positive or negative number to go past the morph limits.
Adjusting the weight of the characters as in making them fat or skinny? There are morph sliders for that.

Tongue is just a thingy attached to the head. It does not have anything special. So you can just hide it with opacity and make your own. Make a dozen of morphs in Zbrush (I think it's your app). You can make one in half an hour... Or there is a tongue prop on the market by Bigboss which has all kind of morphs: https://marketplace.reallusion.com/bb-tongue-prop-with-morphs_190087 Regarding functionality for non-standards, it's coming in CC 4.0 .. I hope. And yes, I hope we can finally custom skin weight the body for once. I've been waiting for it for years now :)

I can try to help you. I've done a lot of stylized characters that require adjusting the tongue. If you're trying to get the tongue to operate the same for a stylized/exaggerated character as you would for a regular character, select 'Mouth Open/Close' click on the 'Edit Mesh' of the main character object. You can then use the move/scale/rotate tools to align the tongue to the new character shape's mouth.

I think to create an own tongue is a nice solution So I can make a Creature Tongue with cool moves. I've also already made custom Teeth, but I thought the tongue was a fix element on the Expression Panel.

I try again to ask my wish is to make a own profile with a adjusted licking. create in 3Dexchange a 3DX_custom Profile do not work in this case.
Any Idea how I get my own custom Profile with my Icons in this panel? Or how can I adjust the EX PlusProfile ?

Is this what you are trying to achieve, Vidi?

I took her to 3DX, exported T07_Tongue_Tip_Down, exaggerated it in Blender and replaced

It's a little hard to control with Face Puppet alone, but with enough practice and combination of Face Puppet and manual tongue muscle control you can sure simulate a lick motion.

Thank you, looks funny :D I will, it try Actually, I wish I could tweak the Profile so that it fit with my character shape and not e.g. The tounge Poke Through the mouth via puppet For that, I would need access to all morphs for adjusting every mouse stage to optimize the Profile. Similar like if you create 3DX_custom in 3Dxchange, but that do not work with the new EXPlus I hope you understand what I mean ?

Well, actually 3DX profile works with EXPlus.. sort of. I was able to transfer that new morph to Caleb via .3dxFaceAnimProfile But there is a bug. The labels for sliders got renamed to default (Group_). So although morphs and value got transferred, it's hard to identify which one is which :Whistling::ermm:

all EX morphs slider set wich I in 3d xchange custom profile , do not triggered in iclone I wonder how that it work for you yes i have also recognize to that all slider renamed than group with number

I do not know Vidi... it just works :) (Maybe you forgot to apply ExPlus profile to the target character?)
I have changed this value on Katherine and then saved profile

Next, I have opened Caleb and applied saved profile

As you see the value retained, but the label is gone. It's really annoying, but still possible to work with it.

You can adjust the morphs for the tongue in 3DXChange. Each morph can be exported out, shaped, then imported back. Then the facial profile can be saved and applied when needed.

Why is the CC + FaceProfile not compatible with 3D Xchange? Why these extra format things, 3dxFacial AnimProfile and ccFacial Profile? Why are the +morphs not in the Avatar, if I send him to xchange? Why is in CC not a Function to create own FacialProfile?
That is what I mean, it is not perfect to work with because the access are missing to get the best out of it.

The software is constantly improving, but there is a high degree of compatibility. For example, 3dXFacial Profiles can be dragged into Character Creator and applied to characters.

I know, but not visa versa, why? Why is a profile unnecessarily converted to make it incompatible? CC hasn't just been around yesterday, I wonder why it hasn't been improved a long time ago. That is essential for unique Character Creating From CC CREATOR with detour to Iclone, to 3D xchange for adjust the Expression , that is cumbersome for a called Creator Tool. Not even a direct connection From CC to 3Dxchange has been made so far.
