Can't find documentation on this. Is it possible to add extra bones to an existing _G3 360 character that can be used to animate a part of that character? For example, I have pigtails on the head of a character and I need to make one of the pigtails wiggle.

1. Bring the character to the Composer mode. 2. Click Bone Editor. 3. Click the point where you want to add the bone to. 4. Click Add Bone. 5. The cursor turns into a 'plus' sign. 6. Add the bone by double clicking.

Yes, I tried that, but unlike free bone, the added bones have no effect on the mesh. There must be a step I am missing to get the added bones effect the mesh.

Once you have added the bone, click it. Then use the sprite editor to add the sprite to it.

So in my case I would first have to have a character missing that pigtail and then just add it through the spite editor?

That should work. :)

Hi All, tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to add bones. It seems like every version of this tool changes the names of things and makes it very difficult to navigate my way thru the app. I just purchased CC4 2 days ago. I have a creature mesh that I would like to animate.
I have a creature that I would like to add bones to the jaw and to antennae that are on the head.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
