Confusion at CC3 Marketplace - when is an outfit not an outfit?

Just downloaded, from Maxstudios, a trial of what I thought/believed to be sci-fi armour. It downloaded to CC3 Texture and will not go on any avatar. Double checking the actual product it does say material/outfit so one presumes it is an outfit and for recent versions of CC3, so I take it that means CC3+, though I have tried on earlier versions. What is it I have downloaded? If it is indeed an outfit, how can one fit it? It is meant to be a low poly background character so I am not that keen in buying the whole Space Kriger package. https://marketplace.reallusion.com/space_kriger_bodymat_d. Thanks.

The product description must be one of the most misleading ever published on the Marketplace. Nowhere is it mentioned that the item requires at least the Space Kriger Body

Many thanks! Have downloaded the body and will give it a quick test but to say I am unhappy with Maxstudios would be an understatement! Had this with another body from Dirtrock that comes complete and only by using Headshot can the features be edited. If this is similar then it makes a mockery of the whole concept of Creating Characters...

Ho Hum, as feared. Downloaded body - tested it first by putting on the armour I wanted, fine, then put on a helmet - mistake! remove helmet and I am now left with teeth and eyeballs! Sure there is a simple fix for this but come on Maxstudios - why make life so difficult?
