I want to create a free-flight camera as is it was on an RC Plane or FPV Drone. I have tried every way to rotate a camera, say, 90 degrees and view the scene as if you tilted your head on its side.
Is there a way to 'tilt the horizon' as if a plane was banking??? I certainly don't see a way, but I hope it is possible....

To get that kind of tilt in an iClone camera, you have to go up to the Edit menu, then down to camera, then uncheck Auto-Level. That will undo it for all cameras, so be careful. As far as I know there's no way to set it for just one camera. I do it when I want a Dutch angle in a scene.
Note: you have to be in preview, and select the camera then use the rotate gizmo, rather than trying to do it in camera. I put that camera tin the mini-viewport to see what I'm doing as I rotate in the main window.

To get better camera control, bring in a ball, link the camera to the ball and position it on the ball pivot point.
Next attatch ball to drone, where you want the camera.
Then you can control the ball via the gizmo,
You have to set a second camera behind the ball. ( link it to plane drone) so you can see the gizmo and use the mini viewport to monitor what camera can see. it's pretty straight forward and logical to do.
Make sure the pivot point on the ball is set to middle in the modify panel. for smoother control

I attached a camera to a Torus, then just rotated the Torus around and it gives you a 360 view. I rotated horizontally, but I could have done vertically.
The prop doesn't actually move here, only the camera.
