how do i enable the restore project option in iclone 7?

It currently seems to be broken since the update.

I don't know whether this will shine any light on this or just confuse the situation more but this is my experience with iclone and CC project, the last 5 months I've been using iclone a lot, After 7.8 I loved it, but CC wouldn't restore, so pretty frustrating, more recently I been getting crashes when opening folders from within content manager and that causes numerous crashes but restore was fine. Thes were custom trees custom terrains custom paths and I think a few others. Over the last few months my graphics started to not refresh automatically and progressively got worse and my PC would restart during renders, and generally small renders that were going at 3-5 frames a second, transparency and glow maps seemed to be  a factor but I had huge scenes with those in and the render would creep along with a frame every 2 secs but it never failed or crashed. Bit weird on 2mil polys and 1gb files fine but 300mb files shuting pc down. Monday this week I found my restore didn't work and never came back. I have not updated to latest patch 7.91, so it wasn't that, . My pc is a bit old now but it has GTX1080ti 11gb and 32 gb ram, but Its Win 7 and I thought it would be that.
Today I upgraded to win 10 pro and downloaded the latest version of Iclone, clicked on custom trees in content mgr and crash but restore was working again and has worked 3 times since.  No fails. so I can work on projects again. so a fresh win 10 install seemed to fix it. Bit drastic but it indicates its not just the update but a mix of things thats broken it for some. Sorry if some points were off topic but it gives a better pic.
I'll let you know if things change. Still go to check CC for auto restore.

Thanks for sharing.  It's not unhelpful, but when a bunch of folks suddenly get the same symptom when an update is released the odds are pretty great it's not a problem on their end.  While it still could be a combination of things (like running the wrong graphics drivers) it's certainly clear the latest patch DID do something to much up the restore process.  And just because it works for *some* doesn't help those it doesn't.
