'Auto Hide Mesh' only affects the body skin but not the clothes.

I would like to use the 'Auto Hide Mesh' Conform feature in CC3 to hide ALL hidden meshes,
as shown in this video https://youtu.be/dbCipA78x7s?t=174

My character has multiple layers of clothes that overlap each other, and I would like to hide triangles of hidden parts of clothes
but after hitting 'Auto Hide Mesh' only the body skin gets hidden, but meshes of clothes are not.

I am using the latest version of CC3 v3.4 and Pipeline Extension.
Is there a setting somewhere that I need to adjust or is it bugged?

Even before you run Autohide routine, you need:

1. In Modify > Cloth Layer Settings" make sure the inner garment is assigned lower layer number than the outer. Example: Bra - 1,  Shirt - 3  Jeans - 4 (if shirt is tucked), Jacket - 5
2. Execute "Run Collision"

Only after that try Autohide. Thought it does not always work well. I prefer to hide faces manually in Edit Mesh, where I feel it is necessary..

I will say that Autohide in the latest version isn't working well -- it used to work a LOT better, but something about the CC3+ figures and the way clothes fit them makes it a much more hit or miss proposition.

Even hiding them manual doesn't work so well.  Something got bunged up in this release.

Thanks guys, it works now!

I've followed your steps and tested it a few times on the default female CC3 Base + character.
And so it turns out that you do indeed have to do 'Run Collision' first. And then it works.
Unfortunately, this necessary step is not described in the docs.
