Hi! Is there a video that shows how to add a photo to a tee shirt. Thanks!

Hello, What I do is save the diffuse image texture. Load it into a photo editor. Add a transparency image of the logo onto the area of the diffuse image and save. Sometimes it is a trial and error to place image where you want it to go. Here is a photo of a police patch I got on Google images. I used the same process to place patch on diffuse image. I made a tutorial on how to add a logo to a baseball cap for iClone.

I made this video here. I show how to use my site to create transparent layers and I use Paint.Net, the best free graphic program.
I need more video ideas if you have any more questions.

Thank you so much! I saw your video last night on YouTube! That was fun. Since you asked... I'm having trouble understanding how all the importing/exporting is done. I have iclone 7, the 3D and regular pipeline, and character creator 3. Yet, iclone doesn't "find/see/ recognize" my saved characters from cc3 for importing, even though the files are available on my computer. I can export to iclone directly from cc3, but then can't find the characters or projects later. When I try to copy, drag into, or import from outside files into iclone, I can't. Should I be doing something with the 3D pipeline instead? How does that even fit in? Will I be able to export my character scenes into Premiere Pro later if I put them in png format? Thanks so much!! On a personal level, I started a movie in 2015. I'm a newbie, but have this idea to spread a positive message about why it's good to choose love in this world. I have the voice recordings edited, the music, and the basic nature scenes and editing layed out. I had to take about a year off to take care of my Mom before she passed in 2019. I've restarted my editing, and found out 2 months ago that I'm unable to use the Fuse characters I made in 2018. Bummer. That's why I'm starting here. If you would like to know more about the movie, or would like to help advise me, I would be delighted to put your name in the credits as ... whatever 3D consultant title you would like. Since I'm an amateur, I'm only going to release it on YouTube when it's done, but I feel the message is a good one these days, and hope I can make people a little happier for having seen it. Thanks again! Take care!

Thanks for the compliment.
To answer your question, as far I know you have to open Character Creator to load characters into IClone, but I learn something new everyday.
I have thought a good Python script idea would be to load one or more characters from where you have them saved, without having to open character creator.
Maybe someone else knows otherwise.

iClone and CC3 each have there own "Custom" folders where your 'creations' are stored -- unfortunately, they don't see each others content (one of my pet peeves about the s/w, so I wouldn't have to duplicate all the assets that are shared between them). So even though you saved an avatar in the CC3 Custom folder, you will need to save it again to the iClone Custom folder. A couple of ways to do that, both from inside CC3: 1) Send the character to iClone and then 'Save' inside iClone, 2) "Export iAvatar to iClone" (something like that, not at my iClone PC at the moment). Option 2 will save it in your iClone Custom folder without actually opening iClone.

I'm not to my "RL computer" right now to check for sure, but if I'm not wrong, a character is saved in CC3 as ".ccAvatar", while iClone uses ".iAvatar", so I don't think they are the same in file format/or structure and that's why "export" is required.

Thanks again for your, and everyone else's, replies! You are appreciated! I think I'm getting the hang of what I'm going to need to do for the movie... it was just frustrating getting original material into the program. If you would like a formal "thank you" on my web page for my movie, please let me know though my website, www.TimelessRealmMovie.com. I can either give you a shout out on the Update page and/or put your webpage up as well, but won't put anyone's name down unless they want/ask. Take care!

When you have created a character in CC and wish to use it in iClone go to File>Export and there you have the option to send the character directly to iClone or you can save the character as an iAvatar.

When you select iAvatar the character will be saved in your iClone Custom character folder and you can load it in a scene from there.
