Headshot Auto Mode Long Hair problem

Hello how are you?
I have a problem with long haired characters and headshot plugin.

Is this supposed to look like this?

Also,the textures generated are a little weird, Why all the wasted space? Is ir normal?

Is this a bug?
Is there some way to solve the hair problem?

Hi...

Your screenshot shows the source image has the hair cut off at the bottom. Obviously when this happens the Auto Hair generated will be cut off too. It can't generate hair it can't see. Try using a photo where the full length of the hair is visible. Although please do understand that Auto Mode is for generating background NPC type characters. For close up work you need to use Pro mode and add more realistic hair manually.

ok, I understand perfectly,
However I could argue that the photo shows the image up to the neck, but headshot generates hair down to the shoulders. So some kind of procedural generation exists. It would be a very good feature if the hair does not end in a straight line.

You can easily edit the texture to suit your needs. That's a useful skill anyway, editing textures. I do it all the time to make changes to existing items.

hi! Sure, I can edit textures too, I was just pointing out that it would be a nice feature for CC3-HS not to have to.
The faster the pipeline for everyone, the better, for us and for CC3 as a charcter creator soeftware

It is also clear from the image that the hair doesn't end there so Peter's assessment is correct.

The better the photo, the faster your pipeline...:P
