Look at video. When I create a follow cam, the camera sways back and forth instead of a smooth follow? It worked before.

When I create a camera and link to boneroot of character, the created follow cam sways back and forth. Look at video.
It was working before. I downloaded the newest Nvidia driver tonight to see if that would help. It did not.
Am I going to have to uninstall and and install iClone 7 again? I hope not.

I noticed the same thing -- I thought it used to work too.  I figured maybe the motion I used was 'tweaking' the root somehow, but now I'm not so sure...

Use the "Attach" instead. Then you have the option to un-check rotation.

The root rotation is on for your motions to insert properly when you insert new motions, and rather than turning that off, it's better to just attach your camera to get the extra options.

That worked. Thank you God and Rampa for the help. I posted video on Youtube of attaching camera to avatar and unchecking rotate.

An understandable improvement on the one hand, but problematic on the other. Attach is either or, once attached that's it, it can not be animated. Links can be turned on or off in the time line, which is often useful.

What I also like about link is that a camera for instance is still listed under Camera. The same with lights. It just simplifies organization in complicated scenes.

It at least explains why my older projects with links now behave funny. I guess a workaround could be to attach a dummy to the bone root and turn of rotation and then link to that dummy.
