Hi.

Do you have guys any idea what i can do with this problem? (at this point i dont have money to buy new PC)

Unfortunatelly i started project with 12 characters , each one has mocap data....

Using MocapData motion files makes iclone rly laggy for me, workflow drops from 20FPS to 5FPS this almost
not acceptable for workflow . I have motion-clip with 12,5k Frames with Mocap-data. When i press play to see my results its luckily runs with abt 27 FPS
this is good for me.

Iclone WORKS FINE when ICLONE deal it with around max 1000 frames even mocap data. I know i can SPLITING my mocap-data(Motion-files) but this terribly wrong
working with 12-14 characters, sptling their motion-clips , loadign them and so on. I even tryed it this is rly hard. Sadly im working with those 5-7 FPS cuz i wanna
finish my job.

Its rly suffering working with 12 chars with MOCAP-data with 5 FPS but honestly i have no objection i know IC 7 is a cheap software,im not expecting anything big true i like IC 7 but maybe u know some
tricks to make this workflow faster please?

Have a good day.

Update: this is rly import for me guys.
(sorry for the replay under replay):

Maybe should i try ... just OPTIMIZE each MOTION-CLIP? it wont be easy process.

My own simply resarch says: 1000 frames of mocap data is around 180000 (180k Key-Frames).... this is hell a lot i guess.

I don't have mocap myself yet, so I'm speculating.

Mocap data is like that with a key for every frame. which adds up.

Instead of trying to optimize with twelve characters loaded, maybe you can optimize one by one and save the result as a motion clip using Collect Clip and then apply this clip later.

Depending on how you get your Mocap data there may be ways to reduce the keyframes in advance. For example, for FBX files you can set the frame rate to a lower value on import. This doesn't change the motion but could reduce the number of keyframes.

Another possibility I've seen mentioned is to take the motion clip and compress it (effectively speeding it up) and then save that clip. You then reload it and expand it back to its original length. This may also reduce the number of keyframes.

I'm sure there are better ways, but that requires someone who has actually worked with mocap data.

Man i simply Love you <3 <3 <3 you've got a place in Hall of fame in my first bigger movie i swear <3

This is focking ridicolusly what i've Discover (accidently/instinctively DISCOVER xD this not even resizing CLIP and Extending later , but this also give some frames) by following your Instructions Man , tommorrow i gona do a YOUTUBE VIDEO, it can rly help to many ppls not only me.

I need to test it also Exporting FBX/BVH from MOCAP-STUDIO to ICLONE , for example not send Mocap-Data with 30 FPS like usually i do but 10-14 Fps for test.

animagic - you are the Man <3 <3 <3 I owe you a lot for real. WORKFLOW is everything...

I did second BIG TEST and its rly 22 FPS damn im so happpy YEY animagic <3 <3 <3 man i was working with 5 FPS.... .... ... now i  have 22 FPS <3
(there is no need to do anything with Motion clip =) =) =) no need to resize etc) atm im to excited to do Youtube video tomorrow when i get a calm a bit ;) :) :)

THanks again animagic and Goodnight bro ! still can believe that THING like this can so BROKE Vievport Framereat its Amazing. Hope Reallusion used this somehow or maybe FIX IT.

Morning folks so lets  speed up Workflow from 5-6FPS to 19-22 stable FPS.

It can be bug , cuz it is not normal to VISEME can complelty affect workflow and destroy it. Another thing is its also aint normal i guess, i
added to my ZOMBIE character a soundtrack NOT VISEME Ttrack
and with no reason(or maybe it normally working if it is its works not as should)
ICLONE 7 saving MOTION-PLUS clip and convert it somehow to VISEME(phenomes unit) tracks.

Video below shows the magic-trick

Yep animagic You saved my life so !!! Thumbs UP !!!

Ps. Also i did few tests with Exporting my Mocap-Data with FBX (not BVH) with 13-14 FPS , file was even smaller than 50% of original and ICLONE use it most possible good (motion was 100% correct) , so the "+" for ICLONE for it and 1000 "+" for You ! :)  As allways i used 30 FPS when exporting ETC cuz i simple was afraid to not Destabilize my motion.

Im not sure that have any sense to putting this on Feedback tracker, ppls dosnt read FBT , Reallusion see 0 VOTES , and doing nothing - Its a simple mechanism and you cant Blame RL for ther inactivity in a specific problem.

But ok ill will.

Actually, if it concerns bugs, votes don't really matter. That is more for feature requests.

In your case someone from RL made the request so that will help the developers.
