Hey guys, I need some help with a problem I'm having with Live Link. The issue is with missing and/or unlinked materials and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. All of the tutorials I have watched load the characters in from iClone to Unreal and the materials are in place, no problem! However mine come in black/ without the materials linked every single time. I have no problem playing back animation or camera movement, so the link is working, just not this part.
Here are some screenshots. I'm not quite sure how to solve this. In one case I was able to manually re-link each material because they showed up as options in the materials drop down menu next to each element, but now there are missing. As you can see, the PBR diffuse materials are available in the content folder, but I cannot drag them over into the element panel for my blueprint character. Also is it kind of strange that CC setup only has "standard shader" as an option and everything else is greyed out? Not sure if that's complicating anything.
Thanks y'all. I'm new to Unreal and the learning curve seems steep! If you have tips please explain it in the dumbest way possible. Here are screen shots, the first one is in iClone of how they are supposed to look.

Double check if the "CC_Shader" Folder is in your Project/Content Folder ! BTW , your environment looks great :-)

donwrich85 (12/25/2020) The CC shader is in the content folder BUT it is still not working. Have you tried the default character in iCLone if it is working?

After they've taken most of us for more than a grand. Thanks Reallusion. I hope you're as happy about MetaHuman as I am, lolol

Hopefully someone sees this because I'm having the same problem and can't find any answers. I'm not sure I understand the fix, is there any chance someone can walk me through it?

I don't know if you are still looking for an answer but I just saw when I was digging around for another issue. It's possible you are missing a step. Try doing it in this order: [1.] Create iClone origin, it is found in the iClone icon at the top of Unreal, look for "Create origin" in the drop down. Drag the new origin point to be sitting flush on your ground surface. [2.] In iClone transfer the character using the Unreal Live Link. [3.] The character will appear without materials linked in Unreal so select the character mesh in the content browser and click the CC set up icon at the top of the Unreal window (next to the iClone icon), select HQ shader. That should link all of your materials automatically.
