#WIP01- Rila Cyborg
I have been a fan of Tron when it first came out and it's sequel decades later. Along with the recent excellent film Alita I wanted to create a character that had elements of both of these styles of movie. The character of Yukio from the Wolverine film was also a character that I also wanted to add in. I would combine elements from all 3 characters and use the likeness of Rila Fukoshima as a starting point in Character Creator

#WIP02 - Rila Cyborg
Starting off with Headshot I created a new character base. I then used SkinGen to add the textures to the character. I then took this into Makeup to add some foundation and make up,
I then used the appearance editor to create some clothing sticking to a red & black combination.
To start adding in Tron like cyber details to the clothing I created glow maps for the boots and gloves.
I chose the hair and created a tint map to add red to this as well.

#WIP03 - Rila Cyborg
I started to build up the cyborg elements starting with creating a new texture for the right eye.
To add more details to this side of the face I tried different mixtures of adding in tattoo and sub surface lights using the decal in Make Up section.
I also changed the hairstyle so the side of the face wouldn't get covered up too much.

I started to create further changes the characters outfit to match the facial decals and hair.
I used the appearance editor to create a cyber leather jacket using one of the jackets from the apocalypse pack. Keeping the gloves and boots and updated the texture on the pants

I began to finalise the face decal after running some animation and lighting tests in iClone. This has a glow effect under the correct lighting

I tested several different lighting set ups in iClone using lights and a combnation of global illumination along with some Iray renders.

Final outfit ideas taking in aspects from each for the final character. A mixture of armor plating and clothing was used for the final submitted character design.
